Malique Guinn is a playwright, poet, and screenwriter who hails from Lancaster, CA. His work often bridges the gap between STEM, faith, and Hip-Hop to examine the human condition.

He was recently a resident of New Harmony Project and his work has received recognition from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, HUMANITAS Prize, the Kennedy Center, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, and the FMM Works in Heightened Language. His play "Imposter's Eve" has been published by Concord Theatricals/Samuel French. His MFA thesis play "Vice Wheels" is the recipient of Kennedy Center's Mark Twain prize for comic writing and distinguished achievement for the Lorraine Hansberry playwriting award. He is an alumnus of the MFA Dramatic Writing Program at Carnegie Mellon University.
